Build one order matrix
Track each SKU, quantity, carton specification and estimated ready date in a single list. A consolidated order is only ready when every required line is available or an agreed partial-shipment plan is in place.
Confirm freight terms
Agree on the named place and Incoterm, along with responsibility for freight, insurance and destination charges. Obtain a current freight quotation rather than assuming last quarter's shipping cost still applies.
Review documents together
Check the commercial invoice and packing list against the order matrix before loading. Confirm country-specific documentation with the buyer's customs adviser and retain loading photos with the dispatch record.
